Custom Cosmetic Formulation in Lahore, Pakistan

Formulated From Scratch, Not From a Catalogue

Your brand brief becomes a bench formula — built ingredient by ingredient by an in-house chemist, tested for stability, and refined until it matches your vision.

What Is
Custom Formulation?

Custom formulation means we build your product from the ground up — selecting actives, adjusting concentrations, balancing pH, and engineering texture specifically for your brand's claims and target market. Unlike private label, nothing is pulled from an existing catalogue. Unlike toll manufacturing, you don't need to already have a formula. You bring the brief — the claims you want to make, your target skin or hair type, budget range, and positioning — and our chemist develops it from first principles.

Our chemist builds a prototype from raw materials, not a modified template.

You review the prototype and give feedback — we iterate until it matches your vision.

🔬
Stability & Safety Testing

Thermal cycling, freeze-thaw, and pH verification before the formula is signed off.

40+ Years
Hands-On

Every formula we produce is built from first principles — emulsion chemistry, surfactant systems, active ingredient stability, pH engineering, and preservation science. That's not a service we outsource. You get full formula transparency and INCI documentation, not a locked recipe.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Custom Formulation Questions

Timeline depends on complexity. Simple formulas can take a few weeks including stability testing, while novel actives or textures take longer. We give a realistic timeline after reviewing your brief.

Target product type, the claims you want to make, target skin or hair type, budget range, and any ingredients you want included or avoided.

You receive full ownership of the finished product for your brand, along with the complete INCI ingredient list, formulation rationale, and stability documentation — everything you need for labeling, marketing claims, and regulatory submissions. The underlying formulation itself — including exact percentages and manufacturing process — remains Scope Cosmetics' intellectual property, and your product is manufactured exclusively for your brand. This is standard practice across the industry: it protects the R&D investment on both sides while keeping your formula made only for you.

Yes. A development fee applies when custom formulation begins, scaled to the complexity of your formula. This confirms serious intent and covers your chemist's bench time and raw materials during development. If you approve the sample and proceed to a bulk production order, 50% of the development fee is credited toward your order. The fee is non-refundable if the sample is provided and no order follows.

Yes. Tell us the active ingredient and target concentration, and our chemist will confirm compatibility, stability, and whether the claim is substantiated at that level.

MOQs are flexible and depend on the product type. Contact us with your target volume for a specific quote.
